White Rice is Here!

We are so excited to now offer White Rice at our Ballard location! White Rice was born when husband and wife team Mary Vaughn Williams and Rudy Huston set off for Asia with their belongings on their backs. Six months in India set the stage for what was to come. Enamored with the vibrant textiles they encountered in the jungles of southeast Asia, Mary Vaughn and Rudy laid the foundation for their life's work when they finally discovered magnificent, sultry Bali. There the young couple fell in love with the indigenous process of wax-resist batik. It was their idea to create clothing from these beautiful fabrics that would make the woman who wears it feel as unique and lovely as the fabric itself. For 17 years, Williams and Huston have successfully created beautiful patterns on comfortable rayon and cottons. We proudly welcome White Rice and invite you to come see for yourself!

Great Blue Willi's for Spring and Summer!

We have added new Blue Willi's styles to our current inventory! The new skirt is beautiful with a full cotton skirt, large scale blue plaid with button details and a blue silk waist band. French Dressing is Here!

Our spring French Dressing styles are here! We're so excited to add these great fashions to our current line of French Dressing. We have the Kate jean which is very fashion forward, yet built for a REAL woman's body (comfortable, a little stretch, long waist, full coverage in the back). Also just in from French Dressing is a darling teal and white gingham camp shirt with roll up sleeves and covered buttons; pair this with our Worn white cropped pant and you're set for the weekend on your boat or just running to your local Sunday market!

It's Spring!! Time for color!

We've been getting our spring lines for the last month or so, but these latest deliveries are so inspiring! I am all about color these days, bright blue, coral, yellow, red, bright grass green. These can be paired together for a bold look or toned down a little with a cropped black chino or a simple white skirt. We have great pants right now from Worn, Jag, Saint James, Robert Kitchen, I could go on and on! Color is also coming to us from Focus Fashions, Nougat and Nikky. One of my favorites is a great 100% silk slip dress from Nougat in Tunis blue with a shimmery grey sash-it is simple, elegant, and oh so chic!
